Side Pour Pls is an ode to the Lukr taps invented in Europe and highly used in the Czech Republic by such places like Pilsner Urquell. A Lukr tap is essentially a side pulling tap that has a set of screens in it which allows for a stable thick foam. It also gives us the ability to do a few different types of pours such as the Mliko pour. Side Pour Pls at its heart is a Dunkel lager using local Blue Ox Malthouse Dark Munich Malt. We fermented and lager aged this beer in our oak foudre. The finished beer leaves you with notes of bakers chocolate, coffee and a clean lager profile. With hints of oak and toffee from the foudre it pairs perfectly with this beer. Foam head for days.
